Tees Valley Projects was part of a single contract as part of the Arts Council England Strategic approach to arts development. It comprised four different projects: Art in Public Places, Light & Dark, Contemporary Chandeliers and Brickworks Revisited.

Georgina worked with upper sixth form students from Prior Pursglove College, Guisborough, on the theme of Journeys and the students perceptions and experiences of the Redcar and Cleveland area. The end result is a series of large collaborative paintings which are to be displayed in several public places and buildings in the area.

Kevin Cadwallender, poet, artistic director and coordinator of the schools work organised a series of 17 drama, dance, poetry and music workshops in Catcote Special School over a two month period. A variety of artists/performers took part, culminating in a performance by the students and practitioners.
The other practitioners involved were: Gary Cordinley storyteller, Lucy Curle and Lisa Dawson dance workshops, Stella Davies voice workshops, Anton Hecht video workshops, Beccy Owen singer/songwriter, Jeff Price writer and Andy Wright and Sunsamba drumming workshops.

The Revd Dr David Bryan of St Andrew's Church Darlington initiated this project in which Don Barker made twelve new chandeliers for the church.
Don also held workshops in four primary schools and one college where he took along his portable forge and held a short metal work demonstration before allowing the pupils to shape metal, and experience the process at first hand.
