2000 - 2004: Establishing ‘the tower’ contemporary visual arts gallery and studios, York.
Careful consultation and sympathetic renovation of a C16th city wall tower made ‘the tower’ York’s most charming and yet challenging contemporary art venue. ‘The tower’ succeeds in providing an art venue, which is open to all in terms of both artists and audience. Personally the project has proved to be an invaluable experience in regards to management, fundraising and publicity skills.

May 14th - May 26th: MMU emerging artists.
July 23 - August l0: Tenderness of Pain.
October 16th - l9th: Sightsonic Digital arts festival. Professional Development:
April 2001 — October 2002, work for English Heritage. This job included working with the DCMS, Heritage Lottery Fund, Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, and many grant giving bodies. The job entailed dealing with grant applications and monitoring for lottery money, including government allocations and dealing with multimillion pound regeneration schemes.
Awards:
1999: Harmstone Bequest, Artists travel award to Indonesia. Traveling and working with many artists, groups and communities studying and sharing ideas.

ice climbing wall.
2003 – The Bendrigg Trust, shortlisted
to design and build a sculpture for the grounds of an outdoor
pursuits centre for disabled and disadvantaged children. Project
ongoing. Kendal

2002 – Professional Vocational award, Arts and Humanities Research Board.
